About Essential Shield

Essential Shield was established in 2009 on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia, with a determination to find and develop products that would have benefits for people in a arrange of applications wherever possible, to replace synthetic, chemical solutions for day to day household requirements (e.g., washing, cleaning, deodorising, insect management). The company began trading with a product range based on various blends of essential oils and in the process discovered a real need for genuine, natural products that could remediate and remove mould and defend against its return.  In view of the fact that there were no totally natural products capable of these performance criteria on the market, extensive research began into the power of varying combinations of essential oils with natural cleaning surfactants that could fill that product gap in the market.

The Essential Shield mould management products we now have are the result of these research and development efforts and have formed a solid basis for business development in the fast growing niche market for a “totally natural mould removal and management service” that does not employ or impose toxic / health threatening chemicals on clients and their living or working environments.  This service is now enjoying strong support from Homeowners, the Real Estate Property Management Industry and Holiday Accommodation property managers.
